A Vampire Bat- it is sucking the lifeblood out of the liturgy.
I've changed my mind, I actually like bats- I don't like the spirit of V2.
After more consideration, the spirit of V2 reminds me of honets, yellowjackets in particular. They take over what isn't theirs, then aggressively attack anyone who tries to restore things to the way they used to be.
Aged hippies doing liturgical dancing to guitar folk music accompanied by the tamborine. Every time I see the besashed super laity prosess to the altar I have pictures of giant puppets on sticks. *shudder*
